La Libertad: The town center of Coina is declared Capital of the Sweet Lime

By Regional Ordinance No. 000016-2025-GRLL-CR, the Regional Government of La Libertad declared the populated center of Coina, located in the Upper Chicama basin, district of Usquil, province of Otuzco, as the Capital of the Sweet Lime. It also established the creation of the Regional Festival of the Sweet Lime of Coina, which will be held the last week of September each year in said populated center.
