La Rioja: aid for the maintenance of sugar beet cultivation

The Official Bulletin of La Rioja (BOR) published on October 27 the Order establishing the regulatory bases for aid for the maintenance of sugar beet cultivation covered by the de minimis regime. The objective is to compensate for the decline in profitability of sugar beet producers in La Rioja due to the cost incurred at this time of crisis due to limitations in agronomic management, with the aim of guaranteeing the maintenance of this crop in the Autonomous Community of La Rioja, and to avoid its tendency to be abandoned. The beneficiaries of this aid will be natural or legal persons, or entities without legal personality, producers of sugar beet, who are owners of agricultural holdings at the time of the publication of this order, located in the territory of La Rioja, who produce sugar beet and have submitted the Single Application in the 2025 campaign.
