Polish agriculture plays on a different field compared to Hungarian, cultivating three times the amount of land area, and there is something in which Polish farmers are the leaders in the European Union. One key to efficient agricultural production is when a farm cultivates as large – preferably contiguous or closely located – areas as possible. Of course, these require high-horsepower tractors or work machines with outstanding working widths. And if they can also take environmental aspects into account (for example, with controlled tillage farming, which reduces soil compaction by a quarter), then it can bring additional benefits. A good example of this is the "XXL" sized farm in Poland, visited by the German trade magazine Agrarheute, which operates on 9,000 hectares and is based on a gigantic fleet of John Deere and high-capacity work machines.
