Lithuania blocks transit of rapeseed oil stolen by Russian tax collectors

Lithuania has found out that rapeseed oil transiting from Belarus was made from products from the occupied territories of Ukraine and has blocked the shipment. This is reported by Dzerkalo Tyzhnia. It turned out that thousands of tons of rapeseed oil from the Belarusian company Agroproduct were being transported by rail through Lithuania. After investigators began to investigate the origin of the raw materials for Agroproduct products, LTG Cargo, a company belonging to the LTG group (Lithuanian Railways), announced an internal investigation and suspended the shipment. Last week, eight wagons with rapeseed oil were detained at the Kiana station, which were heading to the port of Klaipeda. Agroproduct is one of the Belarusian plants that has been supplied with rapeseed from the occupied territories of Ukraine, mainly from the Kherson region, since 2023.
