The Brazilian beef market experienced a decrease in prices per arroba in the first week of December, following high prices in November. The entry of confined animals in the market led to industries extending slaughter schedules, changing cattle purchasing behavior. In November, Brazil's exports of fresh, frozen or chilled beef generated US$ 1.109 billion, with a daily average of US$ 58.420 million. The country exported a total of 228,132 thousand tons of beef, with a daily average of 12,007 thousand tons, at an average price of US$ 4,865.50 per ton.
