Malaysia: LPNM actively implements support programs, promotion of pineapple-based products

MIRI: The Malaysian Pineapple Industry Board (LPNM) is actively implementing various programs in an effort to support and promote pineapple-based products in the country. LPNM chairman Sheikh Umar Bagharib Ali said the program also involved the development of branding of pineapple-based food products produced by entrepreneurs under the guidance of the board. "LPNM's efforts in the development aspect of the pineapple industry are holistic by introducing the Malaysian Pineapple Day Tour that will be organized throughout the country later. "The main purpose is to promote the pineapple industry more actively and aggressively, in line with the focus of the development of the pineapple industry with the tagline 'One Plant, Three Harvests'," he said.
