Luxembourg MPR cows reach the 9,000 kg limit

Thanks to a significant increase in production, the Luxembourg MPR cows have succeeded in passing the 9,000 kg milk mark for the first time. In the 2022-2023 financial year, they recorded an average production of 9,049 kg of milk with 4.23% fat and 3.46% protein in 321 days. That is a gain of 341 kg of milk, +0.10% fat and +0.06% protein compared to the previous financial year, reports the studbook magazine De Lëtzebuerger Ziichter.
