Cherikizovo Group expects to increase exports by at least 25% this year, the company's CEO Sergey Mikhailov told Interfax at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). According to him, in the first quarter of this year, over 70% of shipments by volume were chicken, with 30% consisting of pork, turkey, and sausage products. The export revenue structure is approximately the same. Turkey demonstrated the most significant growth (over 60%), although overall changes in the import structure compared to the first quarter of last year were minimal, he noted. The top five buyers of Cherikizovo include China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, and Belarus. By the end of the first quarter, the company was supplying products to 21 countries, compared to 19 a year ago.
