Brazil: Meeting with the production sector will discuss measures to maintain the export of Tahiti acid lime

Following a Circular Letter from the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAPA), which dealt with phytosanitary measures to maintain the Tahiti acid lime market destined for Europe issued in December 2023 (find out more here), the Agricultural Defense Coordination (CDA) of the Secretariat of Agriculture and Supply (SAA) will hold, on February 22nd, two meetings to deal with the requirements demanded by the European Union (EU) aimed at the productive sector. The meetings take place in the morning and afternoon in the auditorium of the Citrus Defense Fund (Fundecitrus) at Avenida Adhemar Pereira de Barros, 201, Vila Melhado, in Araraquara. On this occasion, in the morning, the meeting will be aimed at Tahiti acid lime producers and will address changes in field measures to meet requirements.
