Melon prices have risen significantly in Ukraine

According to market participants, the price increase is primarily due to a further reduction in the supply of these melons. Thus, hot, dry weather is now having a negative impact not only on the quality of these products, but also contributes to a reduction in the supply of local farms. Thus, today, farmers are ready to ship melons from the field at 15-25 UAH/kg ($0.36-0.61/kg), which is on average 44% more expensive than at the end of the last working week.
