Mexico has experienced a significant growth in raspberry cultivation and exports, with a 18.9% increase in the first five months of this year compared to the previous year. The total raspberry export revenue for the first five months reached € 605 million, with the United States being the primary consumer among 33 countries. Mexico became the world's second-largest raspberry producer in 2019, with a yield of 128,848 tons, which has continued to grow. The states of Jalisco, Michoacán, and Lower California are the primary regions for raspberry cultivation. Recently, Middle Eastern countries have shown an interest in importing not only Mexican raspberries but also other soft fruits.
