Midagri drives the first National Meeting of Agricultural Cooperatives Accountants

With the aim of strengthening the technical and tax capabilities of the professionals who advise agricultural cooperatives in Peru, the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri), through the General Directorate of Associativity, Financial Services, and Insurance, inaugurated the First National Meeting of Public Accountants of Agricultural Cooperatives. The event aims to disseminate the main tax benefits of Law No. 31335, on the Improvement of the Associativity of Agricultural Producers in Agricultural Cooperatives. Additionally, it promotes the exchange of experiences, analyzes problems, and proposes strategies that guarantee a correct application of the special tax regime that this law establishes in favor of the cooperatives in the agricultural, forestry, and livestock sectors.
