From January to May of this year, Peru experienced a significant increase in milk fat imports, bringing in 4,194,000 kilos at a CIF value of US $ 22,037,572, a notable rise from the 1,346,140 kilos imported in the same timeframe of 2019 at a value of US $ 7,315,332. The majority of these imports were received by Leche Gloria SA, with a total of US $ 13,866,621, followed by Laive SA and Nestlé Perú SA. Over 98% of these imports were sourced from New Zealand, with a total of US $ 21,697,299.
