The sheep industry is facing a significant economic challenge due to the spread of FCO-8, with over 400 outbreaks reported in departmental farms. This has led to a ban on exports of live animals to Spain, a crucial market accounting for over 90% of Christmas bookings for breeders and cooperatives.
