Despite a slight decrease in milk production in December 2022, compared to the previous year, there was a notable increase in the production of butter and cheese. Butter production saw an 11.2% increase in 2022, while cheese production rose by 3.3%. However, the production of sour cream and cottage cheese experienced a decrease in 2022, by 0.5% and 7.7% respectively.
