Minister Planas reiterates the Government's support for the dairy sector with a first aid of 159.3 million in Spain

The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Luis Planas, today reiterated the Government's support for the dairy sector to ensure its profitability as an aid of 159.3 million euros that has recently been deposited in the account of the farmers or the changes in the rule that includes the contracting conditions, measures to ensure the viability of the farms.
He has highlighted the Government's commitment to help a key sector that "nourishes the population with healthy food, in quantity and quality, every day of the year, even in very difficult circumstances". The minister has participated today in the presentation of the new campaign of the Dairy Interprofessional Organization (INLAC) that, under the motto “Make it count. It has European dairy products”, it will promote dairy products, with financing from European funds, in Spain and Belgium, in the next three years. Planas has pointed out the importance of the interprofessional to defend the common interests of its entire value chain, and the key role it plays in its management and structuring.
