Anti-dumping investigations into powdered milk imports from Argentina and Uruguay will be resumed by the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services (MDIC), announced the vice president and head of the ministry, Geraldo Alckmin, this Tuesday (2). Since August of this year, the process had been halted due to a preliminary measure that pointed to technical issues in the origin of the petition, such as the need to differentiate the natural product from the powdered version, but now, at the request of the Confederation of Agriculture and Livestock of Brazil (CNA), the work must continue until June 2026.
