Moldova has seen a significant increase in walnut exports to the EU market, with a 94.7% rise in the first 7 months of 2024 compared to the same period in the previous year, reaching approximately 7,335 tons. The main importers are Germany, accounting for 61.7% of the total, followed by Romania and France. This surge highlights the quality of Moldova's walnut produce and the dedication of its farmers, according to the Deputy Prime Minister, Dmytro Alaiba.
