Moldova has seen a significant increase in apple exports to the European Union, doubling in the first ten months of this year compared to the same period last year, amounting to 228 million lei. This growth is attributed to the dedication of farmers and the extension of trade liberalization with the EU, providing access to larger and more competitive markets. The share of EU countries in apple exports has increased from 0.4% in 2021 to 18% in 2024, indicating high-quality products and potential for national pride on the global stage.
