In the first quarter of 2013, ready-to-cook chicken meat production experienced a significant surge, reaching 30,828 tons, which is over 40 percent higher than the same period in the previous year. This increase is primarily due to a substantial rise in hatching, with the number of chickens hatched in the first three months of 2013 being 16.2 million and 251 thousand, a notable increase from 11.5 million and 551 thousand in the same period in 2012. The future production levels are anticipated to be determined in collaboration with the ministry, aiming for further growth in chicken meat production.
