Coffee exporters suffered a loss of R$ 8,719 million in October due to additional storage, pre-stacking, and detentions caused by the inability to export 2,065 containers, equivalent to 681,590 bags of 60 kg, according to the most recent survey by the Brazilian Coffee Exporters' Council (Cecafé). "The outdated infrastructure in Brazilian ports and bottlenecks in logistics continue to generate millions of dollars in losses for companies involved in the shipment of coffee," the entity highlights.
