Sea celery, also known as king vegetable, is experiencing a significant price increase of up to 15% due to scarce supply, with prices ranging from 320,000 to 550,000 VND per kg. This vegetable, which is usually available in the fourth lunar month, is becoming increasingly popular despite its high cost, with the retail price being twice the price of beef and five times the price of pork. The scarcity is attributed to decreased harvesting due to reduced vegetable growth this year.
