A Moroccan technical delegation has visited Egypt to understand the cultivation, inspection, and export of Egyptian potatoes. Dr. Saad Moussa, Supervisor of Agricultural Quarantine at the Ministry of Agriculture, announced that the visit resulted in an initial agreement to open the Moroccan market to Egypt’s exports of fresh potatoes. Additionally, a virtual meeting will be held to discuss the export of strawberry and grape seedlings, and pomegranates to the Moroccan market. A joint technical committee will be established to facilitate the export of fresh agricultural products between the two countries.
