Chi Lang district in Lang Son province is successfully collecting and consuming over 2,000 hectares of na trees, despite the challenges of the Covid-19 epidemic, with an expected revenue of 720 billion dong from an estimated 18,000 tons of custard apple. The quality and affordable price of the Na Chi Lang brand have resulted in strong market demand, and the fruit has been recognized as one of the top 10 Vietnam Agricultural Gold Brands in 2019. The district is also a major producer of tobacco, star anise, chili, peanuts, pine, and eucalyptus. Plans are in place to stabilize tobacco production, expand organic anise production, and expand the custard-apple and citrus tree production areas.
