The District Party Committee and People's Committee of Na Ri district (Bac Can) have just organized a workshop to implement the LT-1 seedless persimmon production value chain. This is one of four livestock and farming chains (hill chicken, black pig, yellow turmeric and seedless persimmon) in the district with high commodity value. Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Nguyet, Head of Na Ri Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, informed that up to now the whole district has planted 130 hectares of LT-1 persimmon, an increase of more than 70 hectares compared to the same period in 2021. Of which 20 hectares are being harvested, worth 272 billion VND. LT-1 seedless persimmons are grown mainly in Son Thanh, Tran Phu, Son Duong, Kim Lu and Cu Le communes.
