Namwon Agricultural Cooperative Exports 240 Tons of Onions to Taiwan This Year

Price Stabilization and Preemptive Supply Adjustment Namwon Agricultural Cooperative (Chairman Park Ki-yeol) and Nonghyup Jeonbuk Headquarters (Head Lee Jung-hwan) held a shipping ceremony for this year's Namwon onions to Taiwan at the Namwon Agricultural Cooperative's local distribution center on the 24th of last month to preemptively adjust the supply of domestic onions. This export was prepared to stabilize prices and preemptively respond to supply adjustments amid concerns of overproduction due to increased onion production yield, with plans to export 240 tons of this year's Namwon-produced onions to Taiwan.
