Recent data from Germany's Federal Statistical Office shows a notable rise in the production and sales of non-alcoholic beer over the past decade, with production doubling to 556 million litres and sales hitting €548 million. Low-alcohol beverages like radlers have also grown in popularity. However, overall beer sales in Germany dropped by 4.5% in 2023, continuing a long-term decline despite a temporary boost in 2022 post-pandemic. German brewers are optimistic that the Euro 2024 championship will increase beer consumption, as some cities previously struggled to meet demand during the games.
