North Sumatra Coffee and Tea Exports Decline

The exports of coffee, tea, and spices from North Sumatra experienced a significant decrease, with a value of 178.070 million US dollars from January to May 2020, marking a 17.02 percent decrease compared to the same period in 2019. The exports had reached 214.603 million US dollars in the first five months of the previous year, highlighting a notable decline in the export value of these commodities.
