Norway's May Herring and Mackerel Export Data Statistics

In May, Norwegian herring exports to Poland amounted to 37 million Norwegian kroner, a year-on-year increase of 207%, with export volume reaching 2,217 tons, up 163% compared to the same period last year. Egypt remains the primary export market, with Norwegian frozen ungutted herring (NVG) exports accounting for 62% of total volume. With the implementation of the EU customs agreement on January 1st, the export momentum of pickled herring products has been notably strong.
