Ocho Sur and Fulbright will promote academic exchange on the Amazon with scholarships.

With the aim of contributing to the development of scientific knowledge about the problems and possibilities of the Amazon, the palm oil group Ocho Sur de Ucayali signed an agreement with the Fulbright Commission in Peru, in order to promote, through scholarships to the United States, the academic exchange of Ucayalino university professors or Peruvian researchers specialized in Amazonian topics. By virtue of this agreement, they will be able to travel to the North American country for up to four months to strengthen their studies, give lectures, and connect with academics from that country. Likewise, researchers from the United States specialized in Amazonian topics will be able to come to Peru with similar purposes. This academic alliance was signed by Ing.
