(Sunchang=Yonhap News) Reporter Baek Do-in = Chestnuts produced by the Donggye Agricultural Cooperative in Sunchang County, North Jeolla Province, were exported to China on the 30th.

The Donggye Agricultural Cooperative's chestnuts are expected to be exported to China in a quantity of approximately 250 tons (worth 650 million won) by the end of next month.

County Administrator Choi Young-il said, "Our local chestnuts have been entering the Chinese market for the 11th year this year" and "We will expand exports to increase farmers' income."
