On December 4th, the "Wholesale Price Index for Agricultural Products" rose by 0.36 points compared to yesterday.

According to the monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the "200 Index of Agricultural Wholesale Prices" on December 4 was 128.52, rising by 0.36 points from yesterday, and the wholesale price index for "grocery basket" products was 131.11, rising by 0.42 points. As of 14:00 today, the average wholesale price of pork in national agricultural wholesale markets was 17.65 yuan/kg, down by 0.5% from yesterday; beef was 66.32 yuan/kg, down by 0.2%; mutton was 62.39 yuan/kg, down by 0.7%; eggs were 7.47 yuan/kg, up by 0.7%; and white-feathered chickens were 17.81 yuan/kg, down by 0.9%. The average price of 28 key monitored vegetables was 5.93 yuan/kg, up by 0.9% from yesterday; the average price of 6 key monitored fruits was 7.31 yuan/kg, down by 0.3%. Carp was 19.42 yuan/kg, up by 0.9% from yesterday; crucian carp was 13.70 yuan/kg, up by 0.7%; white sturgeon was 10.08 yuan/kg, down by 0.6%; and large ribbon fish was 39.93 yuan/kg, up by 0.2%.

Today, among the 46 varieties of fresh agricultural products in the domestic wholesale market that were closely monitored, the top five varieties with price increases compared to yesterday were cauliflower, cucumber, pineapple, tomato, and green pepper, with increases of 3.4%, 2.8%, 2.2%, 2.0%, and 2.0% respectively; the top five varieties with price decreases were lettuce, spinach, large yellow croaker, Kyoho grapes, and pear, with decreases of 2.6%, 2.2%, 1.9%, 1.8%, and 1.3% respectively.
