On December 5th, the "Wholesale Price Index for Agricultural Products" rose by 0.26 points compared to yesterday.

According to the monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the "200 Index of Wholesale Prices of Agricultural Products" on December 5 was 128.78, rising by 0.26 points from yesterday, and the wholesale price index for "grocery basket" products was 131.41, rising by 0.30 points from yesterday. As of 2:00 PM today, the average wholesale price of pork in national agricultural wholesale markets was 17.68 yuan/kg, rising by 0.2% from yesterday; beef was 66.21 yuan/kg, falling by 0.2% from yesterday; mutton was 63.24 yuan/kg, rising by 1.4% from yesterday; eggs were 7.44 yuan/kg, falling by 0.4% from yesterday; and white-feathered chickens were 17.48 yuan/kg, falling by 1.9% from yesterday. The average price of 28 key monitored vegetables was 5.93 yuan/kg, unchanged from yesterday; the average price of 6 key monitored fruits was 7.41 yuan/kg, rising by 1.4% from yesterday. Carp was 19.19 yuan/kg, falling by 1.2% from yesterday; crucian carp was 13.73 yuan/kg, rising by 0.2% from yesterday; white sturgeon was 9.56 yuan/kg, falling by 5.2% from yesterday; and large ribbonfish was 40.20 yuan/kg, rising by 0.7% from yesterday. Today, among the 46 varieties of fresh agricultural products in the domestic wholesale market that were monitored, the top five with price increases compared to yesterday were zucchini, watermelon, Kyoho grapes, green onions, and cauliflower, with increases of 3.8%, 2.9%, 2.2%, 2.1%, and 2.0%, respectively; the top five with price decreases were white sturgeon, garlic, pumpkin, flower sturgeon, and lettuce, with decreases of 5.2%, 3.6%, 2.6%, 2.5%, and 2.0%, respectively.
