According to the monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the "200 Index of Wholesale Prices for Agricultural Products" on October 17 was 119.76, up 0.35 points from yesterday, and the wholesale price index for "grocery basket" products was 120.84, up 0.40 points from yesterday. As of 14:00 today, the average wholesale price of pork in the national agricultural products wholesale market was 18.03 yuan/kg, up 0.1% from yesterday; beef 66.37 yuan/kg, up 0.2% from yesterday; mutton 61.75 yuan/kg, down 0.5% from yesterday; eggs 7.52 yuan/kg, up 0.8% from yesterday; white-feathered chicken 17.69 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from yesterday. The average price of 28 key monitored vegetables was 5.07 yuan/kg, up 0.8% from yesterday; the average price of 6 key monitored fruits was 7.12 yuan/kg, up 1.6% from yesterday. Carp 19.52 yuan/kg, down 1.6% from yesterday; crucian carp 13.94 yuan/kg, down 1.0% from yesterday; white sturgeon 9.99 yuan/kg, up 0.5% from yesterday; large ribbon fish 41.22 yuan/kg, up 2.2% from yesterday. Today, among the 46 varieties of fresh agricultural products in the domestic wholesale market that are under key monitoring, the top five in terms of price increase compared to yesterday were zucchini, cucumber, pear, winter melon, and Fuji apple, with increases of 4.4%, 3.7%, 3.6%, 2.7%, and 2.5% respectively; the top five in terms of price decrease were carp, grass carp, oyster mushroom, green pepper, and crucian carp, with decreases of 1.6%, 1.6%, 1.5%, 1.1%, and 1.0% respectively.
