From January to August of this year, Kazakhstan saw a significant increase in agricultural exports, with the country exporting 610.2 thousand tons of fresh vegetables, an increase of 2.6 times compared to the same period last year, generating $76.1 million in revenue. This includes a 2.6-fold increase in potato exports, primarily to Uzbekistan, and a 3.2-fold increase in onion and garlic deliveries, with Pakistan being the main importer. There was also a threefold increase in the export volume of cabbage, and a 1.7-fold increase in carrot exports. Additionally, tomato exports from the local market increased by 16.2%, and the country also exported a variety of dried legumes to Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Afghanistan, experiencing a 41.8% increase in these exports.
