After the submission of projects for investments in irrigation facilities by irrigation associations and other private water suppliers ended in April this year, the Ministry of Agriculture responded that three projects have been submitted under this intervention from the Strategic Plan, only one of which is from an irrigation association. We remind that this type of support is among the few where subsidies are 100, rather than 50 or 70 percent of the project value, with the idea being to encourage the association of farmers investing in irrigation. Following the submission of applications for support under intervention II.G.5 - Investments in irrigation infrastructure, application number II/G/5/0/1 - irrigation associations and other private suppliers, three applications have been submitted, with the other two being from legal entities established and registered under the Trade Act (TA), providing the service "Supply of irrigation water," explained the department.
