Only one party proposes money for irrigation in the project budget for 2026.

The two deputies from the "Sword" party, Radostin Vasilev and Kiril Veselinski, are currently the only ones proposing to allocate the millions expected by farmers for the reconstruction of irrigation facilities in the country between the two readings of the draft budget for 2026. With the draft for changes to the national budget for next year, deposited today in the National Assembly, they insist on corrections in the expenditure part of the draft budget, where in the policy for agriculture and rural areas the budget framework for hydro-ameliorations should be increased by 375 million leva, or 191.77 million euros. The reasons are that these funds are allocated in the updated budget forecast for 2027-2028.
