The Brazilian government has announced significant developments in its international trade relations, with Angola, South Korea, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Malaysia providing sanitary approvals for the import of various Brazilian products. Angola and South Korea have approved macadamia nuts, Australia and the UK processed macadamia nuts, and Malaysia pork and offal. This marks a milestone in Brazil's trade history, opening up its 127th market in 2024, with a total of 205 openings across 60 destinations since 2023. This achievement is credited to the collaborative efforts of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE).
