The number of farmers applying for subsidies has decreased by 5,000 over 20 years in Poland

During the 20 years of Poland's functioning in the EU structures, Opole farmers, through ARiMR, have received over PLN 10 billion in subsidies - Paweł Kampa, deputy director of the provincial branch of the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture (ARiMR) in Opole, told PAP on Monday. "For many farmers, EU subsidies are already something almost natural, but we must remember that two decades ago they were a complete novelty.
