The Cinagara Animal Health Training Center (BBPKH) in Indonesia has initiated a new training program for Keurmaster and Butcher officers to ensure meat safety and quality. The program, attended by participants from various provinces and companies, is part of the government's efforts to improve meat processing standards and public health. The article highlights the need for increased competence in the agricultural sector due to complex challenges, budget constraints, and rising service standards. It suggests collaboration between government, private sector, and central and regional levels to improve human resources. The training is based on the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) to address the lack of sufficient legality among Butcher and Keurmaster officers.
