In the seventh month of the Iranian year, the production of poultry meat in Iran's official slaughterhouses saw a 19% decrease, totaling 131,891 tons, with 98.3% being chicken and the remainder being other poultry types. The production of red meat also experienced a 6% decrease from the previous month but a 4% increase year-on-year, amounting to 54,455 tons, with beef being the primary contributor at 46.2% of the total red meat production. The production of lamb, goat meat, and other types of livestock meat also varied, with lamb seeing an 18% increase and goat meat seeing a 12% decrease year-on-year.
