Over the past two years, rapeseed processing in Ukraine has increased by 21%

Rapeseed acreage in Ukraine is expanding, despite the ban on imports to neighboring countries. This was told at BLACK SEA GRAIN. EUROPE-2024 was told by Yulia Garkavenko, the expert of oilseeds markets at UkrAgroConsult. Thus, the record harvest of rapeseed is expected in 2023. “We are witnessing a sharp increase in the production and export of rapeseed oil and meal. Therefore, over the last two years, rapeseed processing has increased by 21%, while earlier this growth was observed at the level of 6-10%,” said Garkavenko.
