JoynulAbedin of village Char Nayadingi and Monayem Ahmed Biplob of village Azimpur said they are expecting a profit of Tk8-10 lakh this year from papayacultivation. FazalHuq, another cultivator of village Meghulia, said he has already earned about Tk1.5 lakh selling papaya from his six bigha-land and he expects to earnat least Tk5-6 lakh in the current season.
