“Paraguay, as a food producer, cannot be absent from Southeast Asia”

In an interview with Valor Added on Radio Asunción 1250 AM, the general manager of the Paraguayan Meat Chamber (CPC), Daniel Burt, commented on the meeting held from the Paraguayan meat complex, headed by the MIC minister, Javier Giménez; with ambassadors from the countries that make up the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) with the aim of specifying possible openings for Paraguayan meat. He commented that at the meeting a commitment has been established to accelerate health procedures and schedule possible inspections and audits necessary to enable the different markets for Paraguayan meat. In addition, not only were they very receptive to Paraguay's interest in exporting to those nations, but Paraguay was also presented as an attractive nation to boost investments from Asian countries.
