The Agricultural Economic Bulletin released this Thursday (27) by the Department of Rural Economy (Deral), from the State Secretariat of Agriculture and Supply, pointed out the position of guava in the scenario of Brazilian fruit production. According to the document, the fruit occupies "23,0 thousand hectares (ha), being the sixteenth in Gross Production Value – GPV (R$ 1.4 billion), the eighteenth in area, and the fifteenth in harvested volumes (584.2 thousand tons)", according to IBGE data for 2024.
