REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — The Head of the National Food Agency (NFA) Andi Amran Sulaiman emphasized that the focus of his agency currently is on strengthening the supervision of subsidized strategic food prices. This was stated by Amran after leading the first meeting following his official leadership of Bapanas. He said, the government has allocated food subsidies up to Rp150 trillion, so every price movement needs to be monitored strictly and measured. Amran asked all Bapanas personnel to conduct real-time monitoring every day to ensure price stability and the availability of goods in the market. “We have already mapped out the issues that need to be followed up as soon as possible.
