In September 2024, Peruvian mandarin exports saw a growth of 4.8% in volume and 6.7% in value, totaling 24,714 tons worth US$ 32.86 million. The average price per kilogram increased by 1.8% to US$ 1.33. The exports were predominantly from Lima, Ica, La Libertad, and Arequipa, with the Murcott, Tango, and Malvasio varieties being the most popular. The United States was the primary market, receiving 47.4% of the total exports. The top exporters included Procesadora Lara S.A.C., Consorcio de Productores de Fruta S.A., and Safresco Perú S.A., and the exports were distributed through various terminals, with DP World handling 47.7% of the volume.
