Peru exported 375,000 tons of Hass avocados until the end of week 25

From the beginning of 2025 until the end of week 25 (June 22), Peru exported 375,000 tons of Hass avocados (17,700 containers), representing a 60% advance compared to the projection estimated by the Association of Hass Avocado Producers and Exporters of Peru (ProHass) for this year's campaign, which amounts to 641,000 tons (30,235 containers). In this regard, the guild noted that during the next few weeks approximately 266,000 tons (12,535 containers) must be exported, which would allow closing the 2025 campaign in the third or fourth weeks of September. "Due to the natural seasonality of avocados, a deceleration in the pace of weekly shipments to different markets is projected. This supply will allow fulfilling the commercial commitments established with the main destination markets for Peruvian Hass avocados," ProHass indicated.
