In 2024, Peruvian pitahaya exports saw a significant increase, with volume up by 294% to 422 tons and value soaring by 448% to US$ 1,380,000 compared to the previous year. The average price per kilogram also rose by 39% to US$ 3.27. The Netherlands emerged as the leading importer with a 56% share, followed by Spain and France. The exports, primarily from Jorge Chávez International Airport, were handled by 32 exporting companies, with Camposol S.A.C. leading the group.
