Peru exported algae for US$ 16 million in the first half of 2025

Between January and June of this year, Peru exported 20,885,190 kilos of seaweed with a FOB value of US$ 16,363,774, according to an Agrodata report. According to this source, the almost absolute destination of these shipments was China, where placements were made for US$ 15,770,783 (96% of total dispatches).
